If you’re reading this, then you have made it all the way to Thursday. Celebratory cakes and lukewarm tea will be made available in the break room from 10:00am until 10:15am, and the caterers are under strict instruction to ensure that it is one small cake per person, no exceptions.

That includes you, Liam. We do not want a repeat of last time, because there’s simply no money left in the budget to have the doors to the toilet stall furthest from the door re-installed if you get stuck in there again.

For the rest of you, there’s a big day ahead of us, and the market is all set to open on time this morning, so you all need to be prepared.

Thus, you are required to read Eddy Sunarto’s detailed wrap up of what’s been happening (and what’s due to happen soon) on the IPO front.

Christian Edwards has put an enormous amount of effort into bringing you British semiconductor company Arm’s IPO.

You should definitely read that because Christian gets a little pouty when you don’t, and – as you’re all very well aware – when Christian gets upset, things tend to “spontaneously” catch fire around the office.

Lastly, Bevis “Bevo” Yeo and Jess “Jess Cummins” Cummins have joined forces to deliver a plea from the CSIRO to get decarbonisation at the highest possible priority.

For those of you with early morning meetings scheduled, here’s an at-a-glance-ish run down of the important stuff from yesterday, so you’ve got at least some context for telling your in-laws to invest in whatever “sure thing” you’re feeling confident about today.

Yesterday’s Small Caps standouts were:

Closing at almost +100%, Aussie semiconductor-friendly 4DS Memory (ASX:4DS) took the small cap cake, ate it and then laughed at the other kids in a massive performance critics called “actual massive”.

Also killing it softly was Raiden Resources (ASX:RDN) on news the digger’s found a ~3.5km long, 600m wide pegmatite field at its Andover South tenements with individual pegmatites outcropping up to 30m widths.

The Andover South project, if you’ve not been paying attention, is right next door to where Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS) has been drilling out lithium for fun just lately. Wake-riding and nearology a-go-go.

As Stockhead’s gallant crypto-commods guru and man about town Robert Badman noted, Raiden has completed its latest fact-finding mission, confirming the go-ahead to acquire an 80% interest in five more lithium tenements – nearby the privately held Welcome Exploration project and, yes, adjoining the stupendously-hot-right-now Azure Minerals Andover lithium discovery in the Pilbara.
