Pursuit Minerals (ASX:PUR) has commenced maiden drilling following the receipt of environmental permits to drill its 251.3kt lithium carbonate equivalent at 351 Mg/L Rio Grand Sur project in Argentina.

Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has executed a binding agreement to acquire the Elephant gold and base metals project in WA for $100,000 in cash and shares and a $500,000 exploration commitment for an 80% stake.

Li-S Energy (ASX:LIS) says commissioning of the manufacturing equipment in its new $10 million Phase 3 2MWh lithium sulphur and lithium metal battery production facility in Victoria is now well advanced.

Kin Mining (ASX:KIN) has discovered high-grade Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) mineralisation at its Cardinia East project – opening up a potential new base metals belt in WA.

And Nova Eye Medical (ASX:EYE) has managed to grow its US sales revenue up 65% to US$5.1 million for the six months ended 31 December 2023, compared to the same period last year.

First Lithium (ASX:FL1) says additional diamond drillholes at the Blakala lithium prosopect at its Gouna permit in Mali have continued to intersect ‘significant’ spodumene mineralised pegmatite in all holes.

New World Resources (ASX:NWC) has started its maiden drilling program at the Discus copper prospect at its Javelin Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposit it Arizona, USA.

MND Austria has paid back costs of EU$0.45m (A$0.73m) to ADX Energy (ASX:ADX) as part of an Energy Investment Agreement (EIA) announced in December – and will fund EU$4.5m (A$7.34m) for exploration drilling to earn a 50% economic interest in an exploration investment area within the ADX-AT-I license in Upper Austria.

Pan Asia Metals (ASX:PAM) expects to release results from ongoing drilling at its RK Lithium project in Thailand later this week and says discussions are continuing with one of Thailand’s largest cement producers over the potential use of concentrate and LCE processing residues in cement manufacturing, as well as one of China’s largest and lowest-cost lepidolite producers. The company also expects to start a new drilling campaign at its Tama Atacama lithium brine project in Chile in late February or early March.

And Altech Batteries (ASX:ATC) has received the final instalment of €1,583,333 deferred consideration from Altech Advanced Materials in relation to the sale of 25% of its German subsidiary AIG for €5m.
