Koba’s transition to uranium explorer in South Australia has been a timely one with the price of uranium reaching its highest level since 2007 when it shot above $100 per pound in January 2024.
Koba’s Yarramba Uranium Project comprises over 5,100km2 of highly prospective tenure. A large land package in the Frome Embayment that is set amongst existing uranium producers, and contains over 250mlbs of uranium resources. The Yarramba Project is located just 17km north of the Honeymoon Uranium Operation and 120km southeast of the Beverley Uranium Operation that has produced over 40mlbs of uranium over 20 years of continuous operation.
The mineralisation in the Frome Embayment primarily occurs in paleochannel-hosted deposits. The Yarramba Project itself includes over 250km of highly-prospective paleochannels. Previous exploration within Koba’s Yarramba Project has delineated extensive uranium mineralisation, including the 4.6mlb Oban Uranium Deposit, which demonstrates the enormous potential for Koba to make sizeable discoveries elsewhere in the 5,100km2 tenement package.
