Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who’s getting a croc-shock today?

The life of a wildlife conservationist looks glamorous. Sometimes. Other times it is downright scary, especially in Australia.
Andrew Ucles was able to spot this croc in hiding, ready to pounce, and recorded it as a warning to others.
“It doesn’t matter how clear the water is, it doesn’t matter if it’s one metre deep, it doesn’t matter that last year at the same spot you swam and everything was okay,” he said.
“What does matter is when he pops up in front of you”.
Speaking of shocks, it’s a croc bear market on the ASX again today – the worst in 7 weeks. The ASX Small Ords down 1.16 per cent to 2,842 and the ASX 200 is down 2.18 per cent to 6,495.
This followed US markets falling after a disappointing employment report and the trade war extending to Europe – particularly on Airbus.
In local economics, Australia’s trade surplus fell 19 per cent this quarter to $5.9 billion.
4DS Memory (ASX: 4DS) is taking its partnership with IMEC to the next level, formally integrating their memory technology into IMEC’s. This followed the latest round of tests on its semiconductor wafers.
Agribusiness Webster (ASX: WBI) jumped over 50 per cent with a takeover offer.
