Explorer Iceni Gold (ASX:ICL) has reported “spectacular” high grade gold in rock samples at the at Everleigh Well in WA – with a peak assay of 18,207g/t.

“Assay results from the discovery of the second outcropping quartz vein with visible gold in the Everleigh target area are exciting, as they back up the initial field observations that reported visible gold in outcrop,” technical director David Nixon said.

“The Everleigh Well target area continues to deliver in-situ gold-bearing rock chips and significant numbers of various-sized gold nuggets, where a number of key targets will be prepared for future exploration drilling.”

 

Authentication tech stock YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) has signed a three-year agreement with Aussie company Rim-Lock Innovations to protect and support an invention for the global mining and wheeled heavy machinery generally worth a minimum $80,000.

Rim Lock protects against injuries and fatalities in the wheel and tyre change “crush zone” for wheels and tyres weighing over four tonnes. 

YPB Connect will generate serialised QR codes (ProtectCodes) to be applied to YPB supplied designed Ultra-Tough security labels for demanding environments. They’ll be applied to each Rim- Lock® unit, case and retainer.


Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM)
has got firm commitments to raise $8.1m to commence exploration drilling at Jaguar and Borborema Lithium projects. 

Big brother and fellow Brazilian lithium play Latin Resources (ASX:LRS) will increase its investment in SLM to 17.79% as part of the placement.

 

Drilling has intersected near surface gold at First Au’s (ASX:FAU) Haunted Stream project in Victoria, “potentially open[ing] the door to a large mineral system”.

Results from the first two holes include a highlight 12.9m @ 3.57g/t, including 7.3m @ 5.1 g/t Au, from 38m.

 

And two diamond drill rigs are now spinning at Adavale Resources’ (ASX:ADD) Kabanga Jirani nickel project in Tanzania to follow up that 4.15m massive nickel sulphide hit announced earlier this week.

ADD says initial assay results are expected late June, early July.
