Maiden fieldwork at Fin Resources (ASX:FIN) Cancet West project in James Bay has identified “abundant spodumene crystals” within a large broad pegmatite outcrop.

Calidus Resources (ASX:CAI) says it’s on track to meet FY24 guidance, supported by start of mining at the Blue Bar deposit at the Warrawoona gold project in the March quarter – which contributed ~10,000 ounces to FY24 production – plus access to higher grade ore restricted by mining in cutback areas, which will be completed by the end of December quarter. 

An extensive fieldwork program has highlighted encouraging gold and copper mineralisation along 6.5km of skarns and new structures within RTG Mining (ASX:RTG) Chanach project in the Kyrgyz Republic. 

Aeris Resources (ASX:AIS) Tritton, Cracow and Mt Colin projects have met production targets for the September quarter, with production at the Jaguar project exceeding guidance with the site now on care and maintenance.

And Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR) says a review of rare earth elements in historical results in Rio Grande carbonatites has returned strong grades including 24.7m at 1.27% TREO from 10m.

Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS) says early test work returned grades of 5.59% Li2O spodumene concentrate with a recovery of 82.37% at its Andover project.

West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI) cornerstone investor Wingfield Partners has expressed formal interest in providing US$10m funding to help develop the Qala Shallows project.

Great Southern Mining (ASX:GSN) has secured an earn-in agreement with major producer Gold Fields, which will spend up to $15m to earn 75% of the Edinburgh Park project in Queensland.

Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1) plans to deliver a vertically integrated scoping study in Q4 2023 as part of a staged development plan for initial spodumene concentrate production by 2025 from its Eastern Hub Seymour mine and concentrator in Ontario, Canada.

Copper Search (ASX:CUS) is planning a follow-up RC drill program in late October at Targets AC23 and AC24 at its Peake project in SA.
