Resource Base shares have been admitted to the official list of the ASX today as it gears up to list at 11:30am EST on Monday, 12 July.

“We are very pleased to have achieved admission and quotation of Resource Base Shares on the ASX,” executive chairman Shannon Green said.

“I would like to thank the entire Resource Base team, our advisors at Candour Advisory, Steinpreis Paganin and the ASX, and the more than 900 shareholders who now join us as we progress our exploration program at the promising ‘Black Range’ base metals project in north-west Victoria.”

RBX’s (ASX:RBX) flagship is in the well-known and highly prospective Stavely Volcanics corridor in north-west Victoria and includes multiple, largely untested, targets including the Eclipse, Lexington, Glenlyle and Pollockdale prospects.

Historical work at the Eclipse prospect

Historic work programs completed by Navarre Resources (ASX:NML) targeted large volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VHMS), porphyry copper – gold and epithermal deposits within the region.

At the advanced Eclipse prospect, a supergene blanket of enriched copper (chalcocite) mineralisation is developed above widespread copper, gold and zinc mineralisation – which Navarre interpreted to be associated with a potential volcanic-hosted massive sulphide source.

An induced polarisation (IP) geophysical survey highlighted a large anomaly beneath the shallow chalcocite mineralisation that is also coincident with a gold-in-soils anomaly.

And a prior series of reverse circulation drill holes and a small diamond drill program (3 drill holes for 1,497m) intercepted anomalous gold, copper and other base metals.

RBX plans to undertake further work to determine size and extent of the mineralisation and to define further exploration targets.
