Felix Gold has flagged deeper feeder zones of mineralisation at the North West Array (NWA) Southern Zone and East Gate target areas of its Treasure Creek Project in Alaska.

Final assay results from the 2022 drilling program at the NWA Southern Zone returned:

  • 26.3m at 0.22 g/t gold from 185.4m (22TCDD001);
  • 3m at 1.12 g/t gold from 112.8m (22TCDD002);
  • 48.8m at 0.20 g/t gold from 15.2m (22TCDD003); and
  • 9.3 m @ 2.23 g/t Au from 68.6m (22TCDD03).

Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) says gold mineralisation exists at depth and presents itself as a feeder zone to the shallower, more disseminated gold mineralisation in NWA Southern Zone.

Delivering a resource for NWA target

The company has high hopes for the Treasure Creek project, which is just 15km from Kinross Gold’s Fort Knox and along trend from the major Golden Summit discovery.

And the recent diamond drilling has delivered critical structural measurements in understanding the structural architecture of the large gold mineralised hydrothermal system.

FXG is now planning the 2023 drill program for the project.

“Work is now underway to analyse the full suite of results and feed them into a very precise 2023 exploration program where our primary objective is to deliver an initial resource on the NW Array target,” MD Anthony Reilly said.
