Sarytogan Graphite (ASX:SGA) is topping the winners list after announcing that thermal purification of Sarytogan Graphite achieved 99.99% total graphitic carbon (TGC) for samples from its graphite deposit in Central Kazakhstan. That’s far in excess of battery anode material grade.

The company says Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) is underway that will evaluate chemical vs thermal purification flowsheet options.

Also on the winners list today is Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO) after inking a binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) for an option for HCH to buy the Cometa Copper Project in Chile for up to US$3.3 million in cash.

BMO says the divestment will enable it to realise near term value for shareholders from the Cometa Copper Project and focus on the highly prospective Canadian Lithium Project and Swedish Rare Earth Element (REE) Project.

The explorer says it has received confirmation from the ASX that shareholder approval is not required for the divestment of the Cometa Copper Project.

BMO says lithium exploration results are due in Q3, with Canadian geological consultancy Orix Geoscience Inc onsite at the McCombe North and Raleigh Lake Lithium Projects in Ontario, Canada.
