Gas giant Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) has surged after receiving an all-cash takeover offer at $9 per share from Brookfield Asset management and MidOcean Energy.
It values the company at $18.4bn.
Invictus Energy (ASX:IVZ) says elevated gas shows and florescence confirms a working hydrocarbon system at the Mukuku-1 well currently being drilled in Zimbabwe.
Explorer OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) says initial assay results from drilling at Splinter Rock in WA confirm “outstanding, high grade clay rare earths with large thickness over extensive areas”.
