Janison Education Group (ASX:JAN) inked a 5 year, ~$45m deal with the NSW Department of Education to deliver the state’s selective education placement tests via Janison’s digital assessment platform.

This is the largest contract signed in the company’s history.

Furniture retailer Nick Scali (ASX:NCK) today reported its results for the half year ended 31 December 2023, with a net profit after tax of $43.0m, slightly above the $40-42m guidance provided at the October 2023 Annual General Meeting.

This is still down 29% on HY23.

The company declared a fully franked interim dividend of 35 cents per share, with a record date of the 5 March 2024 and a payment date of 26 March 2024.

This represents a payout ratio of 66% (H1 FY23: 53.5%).
