The day ahead

The domestic calendar is quiet today, in what will be a relatively quiet week on the local data and events schedule.

It’s a busier one out of the US, where markets will reopen after a day off to start the week for the Memorial Day holiday.

Markets will get an update on US house prices for March, consumer confidence in May and the Dallas Fed’s manufacturing index, while Federal Reserve committee member Neel Kashkari will take part in a virtual COVID-19 panel.
