Dr Julian Chick, Non Executive Director
Dr Julian Chick has over 15 years of experience in senior management including as chief executive and head of business development, as well as running early and late stage research & development projects. Dr Chick has experience raising hundreds of million dollars for R&D projects as well as being involved in product launches and partnerships, M&A and licensing transactions. He has had experience as an investment advisor, and was an analyst reviewing healthcare and biotechnology investment opportunities for private equity investors and venture capitalists. Dr Chick has a PhD in Muscle Physiology.

Marat Basyrov is an experienced investor and serial entrepreneur, applying creative and technology-forward data and digital solutions across a cross-section of industries to solve complex challenges. Mr Basyrov made his first million dollars at the age of 26 by investing in the stock market. As chief executive of artificial intelligence software and app solutions provider Edway Apps Studio and Intelligent Profit Solutions, Mr Basyrov has a track record of success through building a number of data-driven startup companies including Adevi.io. Michelle Gallaher, Chief Executive Officer
Michelle Gallaher has over 25 years of experience in biopharma marketing and advocacy. Ms Gallaher founded The Social Science in 2014, a private consulting firm specialising in social media intelligence and marketing strategies for the Australian life sciences sector, experimenting with collecting data and recruiting to clinical trials. In 2018, The Social Science was sold to a US-based ASX-listed company. She also co-founded Women in STEMM Australia, a not-for-profit organisation advocating for a greater representation of women in STEMM leadership roles in Australia. She has a third startup in dermatology
Damon Rasheed, Non Executive Director
Damon Rasheed has experience in artificial intelligence, and has been involved in many startup internet businesses. From June 2007 to December 2018 Mr Rasheed was the chief executive of Rate Detective, an Australian financial service comparison sites specialising in life insurance, income protection insurance and home loans. Mr Rasheed holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Melbourne.
David Iilja, Company Secretary
David Iilja is the founder of DLK Advisory. He spent more than 20 years supporting his clients in managing and coordinating their accounting and tax obligations. Prior to starting DLK Advisory, Mr Lilja held senior leadership positions with Crowe Horwath, Smartgroup, KPMG and EY. Mr Lilja specialises in providing accounting, tax, business advisory and transaction support services. He also has a specific interest in the remuneration of an organisation’s workforce including employees (local and expatriate), contractors and directors, involving the design and implementation of remuneration programs combined with managing their regulatory obligations. Mr Lilja is also an active Angel Investor, working with startups to become investment ready including ensuring the companies maximise tax benefits such as R&D and the Early Stage Innovation Company concession for its investors.
