Good morning everyone, and welcome to Yet Another Thursday, the latest in a very long line of Thursdays poised to bring you all the Thursday goodness you could possibly wish for, or handle.
After a crackerjack post-inflation data win for the ASX yesterday, I get the feeling that local investors are hoping for the Good Times to continue – but before we all start looking for the next Big Thing to plumpen our portfolios, there’s a few things you’re going to want to know.
Top of that list is a solid story about gas from Jessica Cummins, with a look into the crystal ball and a glimpse of what’s on the cards for the $2.1 billion Aussie hydrogen industry.
Meanwhile, Nadine McGrath has the good oil on zinc, the mineral most likely to be spread on your nose next summer.
Christian Edwards has a look at Amazon’s upcoming bats..t earnings call, and Guy Le Page has a very cheap gold explorer he thinks you should know about.
If you’re in a hurry, however, and just need the basics, you’ll find all the digits and details below to get your day started.

Standouts:
- Xantippe Resources (ASX:XTC): +67% > Big gainz, but no fresh news for the WA (Southern Cross) focused precious metals explorer. The other day, though, it announced some capital raising to fund strategic growth.
- AD1 Holdings (ASX:AD1): +40% > The recruitment tech and utilities-software-billing firm announced strong quarterly financial/activities results.
- Melodiol Global Health (ASX:ME1): 20% > The Aussie cannabis company’s wholly owned subsidiary Mernova Medicinal has made strong progress on the EU GMP licence process to fast-track cannabis exports to Australia and Europe. And for some reason, we’re craving pizza.
- BirdDog Technology (ASX:BDT) +17% > The global video tech company reports not-too-bad quarterly results, with customer cash receipts of A$7.5 million, +3.6% quarter-on-quarter (-7.5% versus pcp).
- Oneview Healthcare (ASX:ONE): +15% > The healthtech software solutions outfit has just delivered a positive cash flow report. Which is nice.
