After a big week on Wall Street, ASX futures are pointing 0.6% higher today following last week’s ~3% gain.

Elsewhere, there are no major local market moving indicators for release prior to the March 29 Fed Budget.

BUT … the week does kick off with annual data on Aussie alcohol consumption from the ABS.

Which is interesting for most of us, but also represents a key indicator for the liquor industry and several listed beverage companie

Up four days in a row, on larger than usual volumes, with no news — what’s going on behind the scenes at beleaguered Berkeley Energia (ASX:BKY)?

The advanced project developer is battling through the approvals process to build its contentious Salamanca uranium mine in Spain.

It’s not looking good, unlike the share price which was up 67% over the past week.

Last week PhosCo (ASX:PHO) delivered a 50% increase in its KEL mineral phosphate resource – one of two at the flagship ‘Chaketma’ project — in a major step towards the start of feasibility studies.

Biotech 4D Medical (ASX:4DX) says it has developed the world’s first and only dedicated lung scanner, deploying an XV Scanner ahead of schedule at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.
