Aussie biotech Noxopharm (ASX:NOX) has been granted Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) status by the US Food and Drug Administration for its CRO-67 preclinical drug candidate for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Air traffic management solutions and simulation and training player Adacel Technologies (ASX:ADA) has snagged a new US$59m contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which encompasses a “comprehensive range of services connected with the existing installed network of Tower Simulation Systems (TSS).” 

Bulletin Resources (ASX:BNR) is a step closer to drilling its Ravensthorpe lithium project in WA after the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) decided it was “unnecessary” to assess the environmental impacts of clearing and drilling.

Roots Sustainable Agricultural Technologies (ASX:ROO) has nabbed a A$288,266 purchase order for two root zone cooling projects in the UAE which it says underpin its strong momentum in the region. 

Altamin (ASX:AZI) has expanded its tenure by 500% at the Lazio geothermal lithium project in Italy after an independent consultant said there was def potential for both power production and lithium extraction at Lazio.

Burley Minerals (ASX:BUR) has kicked off at its lithium project in Quebec, Canada, following up six previously identified targets.

Reach Resources (ASX:RR1) has flagged up to 48% manganese from rock chip sampling at its White Castles project in WA’s Edmund Basin.

Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1) has acquired 100% ownership of the Junior lithium project for C$1.6m (C$1m cash and C$0.6m scrip) which is 22km east of its flagship Seymour project in Canada. 

Galan Lithium (ASX:GLN) has entered Quebec’s James Bay hard rock province, forming a JV with Redstone Resources (ASX:RDS) to acquire ground adjacent to Patriot Battery Metals (ASX:PMT) CV8 pegmatite discovery.

First Lithium (ASX:FL1) says diamond drilling will kick off any day now at its Blakala lithium prospect on its Gouna permit in Mali.

Lake Resources (ASX:LKE) has reported brines returning grades of 180-348 mg/L1 lithium over 445 m2 (166 – 610 m) with an average of 267mg/L at its Kachi project in Argentina.

Blue Star Helium (ASX:BNL) says site preparation work is proceeding at its Voyager helium project ahead of scheduled plant equipment delivery by IACX. 

And ADX Energy (ASX:ADX) have extended the commencement date for drilling of the Welchau-1 well to on or before 1 January 2024.
