What’s molybdenum? What is it used for? And how do we find it?

Taiton Resources (ASX:T88) executive director Noel Ong isn’t the last person to admit molybdenum may be an unsung hero.

T88 kicked off drilling for molybdenum at its Highway project in South Australia on November 3, chasing a soil anomaly identified by an UltraFine soil survey.

Joining the Stockhead TV studio, Ong says there are many deposit styles when looking for molybdenum.

“There is only one primary molybdenum deposit in the world, the rest are a by-product of copper-gold porphyries,” he says.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Ong to gain better insight into molybdenum and the factors driving demand.
