Green Technology Metals is kicking off the Canadian mining season with expansive exploration across all of its 56-hectare lithium real estate.

A three-phase, large-scale drilling and exploration program is now underway at highly-prospective lithium projects in Ontario, Canada, with immediate success at the Root Bay project.

Phase 1: Field Exploration: Tape Lake target at Junior Lake, Superb Lake, Root, Allison. Infill Drilling Root Bay.

Phase 2: Field Exploration: Junior Lake, Pennock, North Seymour and Falcon.

Phase 3: Infill drilling at Seymour exploration drilling priority targets generated from above Phase 1 and 2 field exploration.

Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1) has identified an additional LCT pegmatite outcrop 1.4km along strike 1.4km and west of the Root Bay deposit, extending the mineralised trend to over 2.7km.

3,741m and 19 holes have already been completed as part of an initial 22,000m diamond drilling program focused on adding tonnes to the existing 8.1Mt resource and will be followed by extensional drilling over 3km of untested, highly-prospective extensions of the deposit.

Field crews will commence prospecting, soil sampling and geochemical analysis in the coming weeks over the underexplored northern tenement area of Root Bay for additional drill targets that will be prioritised when exploration drilling resumes in Q4 23.

Western Hub

At GT1’s nearby Allison project, field crews will be mobilised to the edge of a fertile granite believed to be the source of LCT pegmatite occurrences in the area.

10 targets have been identified for mapping, sampling and prospecting – which will be followed by stripping, channel sampling and drilling at newly generated targets later in the year.

At the Trist and Pennock deposits, prospecting, mapping and sampling will be conducted to identify drilling targets.

Pennock is adjacent to Frontier Lithium’s Pennock Pegmatite that has a spodumene-bearing outcrop containing a 16m channel sampling grading at 1.96% Li2O, with satellite imagery showing extensional trends towards GT1’s property line.

Eastern Hub

Geological crews have been mobilised to the Eastern Hub’s Seymour project which contains the Junior Lake, Falcon and Superb project areas.

Initial mapping and sampling will be focused on Junior Lake and Superb for the Phase 1 exploration of the project area, expanding to North Seymour, Falcon, Despard and Swole Lake target areas at Junior Lake as part of Phase 2.

GT1 plans to recommence diamond drilling at Seymour during in Q4 2023 with a 6,000m diamond drill infill program to upgrade the resource at the North and South Aubry deposits and continue infrastructure drilling to support a Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Following the initial drilling program at Seymour, exploration drilling will recommence over new priority target areas it generates.
