Where’s lithium at today? We’ll start with the Chinese-flavoured “spot price”.
Lithium Price Bot says… that the lithium carbonate pricing is trending down for the moment, to the tune of about -0.31% and spot further: -0.7%.
Is the lithium sector sentiment down again? Perhaps just a tad, despite positive news stories we’re seeing here and there regarding solid demand for the battery metal. Including German interest in Aussie lithium.
And, while we’re seeing more red than green in ASX lithium stocks on the whole today, there are still some positive movers catching the eye…

Charging up today 🚀
Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) +12%
Along with Galan and a few others (see below) Global Resources is moving and shaking today as the company presents at the RIU Sydney Resources Round-up.
About a week ago, the company restarted drilling at its 100%-owned Manna Lithium Project, which is about 100km east of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
And that’s a 6000m Reverse Circulation (RC) program targeting pegmatite extensions southwest along strike from the Manna Resource and follows up on the 21m at 0.99% Li2O from 91m intersected in hole MBRC03121.
This comes after a period of data consolidation and interpretation following a successful 2023 drill campaign that saw more than 60,00m drilled.
The Manna lithium project resource currently sits (or stands, maybe both) at 36Mt at 1.13% Li2O. A Mineral Resource Estimate update will be delivered in the current quarter, notes the company.
