Stockhead’s ‘Garimpeiro’ columnist Barry FitzGerald is back in the studio for another instalment of The Explorers Podcast.

In this episode Barry chats to Geraint Harris, managing director at Altamin (ASX:AZI)

Altamin is an emerging exploration and development company focused on unlocking dormant value at the Gorno Zinc Project, a historic high-grade zinc mine in northern Italy.

Altamin’s board of directors have called the recent take over offer of 9.5c per share by VBS to be grossly undervalued, calling the offer ‘neither fair or reasonable’. Independent experts estimate AZI’s fair market value somewhere in the range of $0.195 to $0.309 per Share (with a preferred value of $0.253 per Share).

And that leaves the VBS bid in the dust.
