KFC is releasing a new gaming console which comes with built-in chicken chamber to keep food warm while you play.
Not a joke.
The bucket-like ‘KFConsole’ is being built in partnership with PC maker Cooler Master and will have surprisingly decent specs.
“If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch,” Mark Cheevers, PR & social media lead at KFC UK & Ireland says.

Aspiring fertiliser farmer Kore Potash (ASX:KP2) spiked hard (+109%) on high volumes this week for no reason.
The ~$10m market cap, Congo based potash play is aiming to finalise Phase 1 of its project Definitive Feasibility Study (ostensibly the most detailed of all the studies) in May next year.
Pilbara iron ore play Brockman Mining (ASX:BCK) (+95%) is now up 200% over the past six months.
No announcements this week either, but with iron ore running so hot do these guys even need news?
Leaf Resources (ASX:LEF) (+79%) has re-listed on the ASX following a recapitalisation and now specialises in “sustainable pine chemicals”.
PepinNini Minerals (ASX:PNN) (+63%) is looking to buy a South Australian halloysite-kaolin project next door to investor darling Andromeda Metals (ASX:ADN).
Avecho Biotechnology (ASX:AVE) (+63%) announced it would join the CA Clinics Observational Study to test the performance of its oral cannabidiol (CBD) products.
The data may well help cannabis products gain greater acceptance – but still, that’s a pretty dramatic share price rise for what amounts to mailing out surveys to cannabis patients.
