WHAT GOT YOU TALKING YESTERDAY?
COP26 targets require 7Mt of lithium, 5Mt nickel sulphate each year by 2040. That’s 17 times and 19 times current production levels, respectively.
Rare earths prices are flying.
“With current high prices and continued price growth, the prospect of good projects getting up into production via funding and offtake is becoming much more real,” Arafura general manager sales & marketing Lloyd Kaiser says.

A maiden drill hole has pulled up an incredible 111m long intersection grading 2.3g/t – including 7.2m at 26.9g/t – at the brand new ‘Alba’ target, part of Sunstone Metals’ (ASX:STM) ‘Bramaderos’ project in southern Ecuador.
It could be STM’s second major discovery in as many months, after it hit a monster 480m-long copper-gold intersection from 11m depth at the ‘El Palmar’ project, also in Ecuador.
This sparked a re-rate, which has been compounded by yesterday’s announcement. The $246m market cap stock is now up 400% since early October.
Tech venture firm Fatfish Group (ASX:FFG) made gains on no news.
In response to an ASX query it noted that investee company, iCandy Interactive (ASX:ICI) — in which FFG holds an indirect holding of 31.9% — “entered into a trading halt this morning pending a release of an announcement regarding a material acquisition and a capital raise”.
Product tracing and anti-counterfeit tech company YPB Group (ASX:YPB) signed a three-year deal to supply its CONNECT platform and serialised QR codes to Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group (ASX:AHF). Projected revenues from the arrangement were not disclosed.
BNPL player PayRight (ASX:PYR) posted strong gains after an October trading update. It flagged record monthly Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) processed through its platform of $11.3 million, up 21% from September.
