Listings on two straight days in 2022? Maybe some confidence is coming back to the market after DeSoto Resources (ASX:DES) raced onto the ASX on Friday.
Taiton Resources will list at 2.30pm this afternoon, meaning a short trading day for the explorer, which boasts the Lake Barlee gold project in WA, the Highway polymetallic project in SA, and the Challenger West gold project also in SA.
The company believes the dominant land holding at the Highway Project will allow it to potentially uncover the next elephant deposit in Australia, located to the west of BHP’s (ASX:BHP) massive Olympic Dam copper, gold and uranium mine.

Brazil may not have made it to last night’s World Cup Final as expected, but a new Brazilian in Meteoric Resources (ASX:MEI) had a happier week than the Samba Kings.
It stormed on Friday after being revealed as the new owner of Caldeira, a ‘Tier-1’ ionic clay rare earths discovery in Brazil’s Minas Gerais state, rich in terbium, dysprosium, neodymium and praseodymium.
“These four elements will be the magnetic powerhouse of the green energy transition, crucial if we are to reach global CO2 reduction targets,” director Andrew Tunks said.
Also Peregrine Gold (ASX:PGD) won the market with a truly outlandish gold sample at its Birdsnest Prospect, with one vein exposed in a costean grading upwards of 122,000g/t, equivalent to 122kg.
