Native Mineral Resources (ASX:NMR) released a capital-raising clarification this morning, noting it’s tractor-beamed in $640k by way of a share placement offering to sophisticated and institutional investors (issuing of 21,363,767 fully paid ordinary shares at $0.03.

That’s a discount there, with the current share price sitting around $0.055.

Jostling for position with several others, the company is on a lithium hunt in Canada, and the funds raised here will be used for the acquisition of the Mclaughlin Lake Lithium site in the province of Manitoba, along with various operational expenses.

NMR is set to gain 51% of the highly prospective lithium project from New Age Metals Inc for $200,000 in NMR shares, $75,000 CAD in cash and $500,000 CAD funding of exploration over 18 months.

“NMR has secured a strategic early position in an under-explored, yet hugely prospective, greenfield lithium province with known pegmatite outcrops and high-grade lithium results,” said Native Mineral Resources’ MD Blake Cannavo recently.

Western Yilgarn (ASX:WYX) is prepping to explore its West Julimar project for the very first time – which sits right next door to Chalice Mining’s (ASX:CHN) world class 3Mt nickel equivalent Gonneville resource.

Gonneville was discovered in 2020, when the region was known for its bauxite and mineral sands, not nickel sulphides.

That has well and truly changed. Chalice has gained ~3,500% since its discovery hole and is now working hard to prove up a Tier-1 scale mine development.

Because its tenure was pegged in 2018, Western Yilgarn is a true first mover in a region now jammed to the gills with companies looking for a Gonneville lookalike.

But what most importantly sets Western Yilgarn apart from every other explorer in the area is this: Chalice announcements to date strongly indicate the mineralisation at Gonneville, 2500m away, trends into Julimar West.

And yet Julimar West remains untouched, thanks to a quirk of government policy called a File Notation Area (FNA), which could be lifted very soon.

In other news, 1ST Group’s (ASX:1ST) virtual care technology company, Visionflex, has received an order from WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) to deliver virtual healthcare across 75 Commonwealth-funded Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) in Western Australia.

The initial purchase represents $1.1m in upfront revenue in H1FY24, and additional orders from WAPHA, for other RACFs in Western Australia, are expected to materialise within FY24, the company says.

AV networking tech company Audinate (ASX:AD8) says its revenue increased 40% on FY22 to US$46.7 million ($69.7 million), delivering gross profit of US$33.4 million, up 34.4% on a gross margin of 72.1%.

And Smart Parking (ASX:SPZ) says revenue for the full year was 18% higher than pcp to $45.17m. Net statutory profit after tax was $6.4m, up 565% from FY22.
