Travel sim card company Flexiroam (ASX:FRX) tripled in the first 20 minutes of trade before trading was halted pending a further announcement.
Brain cancer biotech Kazia Therapeutics (ASX:KZA) surged after announcing its treatment had received a Fast Track Designation from US health authorities.
And a number of other stocks climbed off the back of financial news including financial services firm Centrepoint Alliance (ASX:CAF) and large cap education firm IDP Education (ASX:IEL).
