Closing Bell is Stockhead’s daily recap of the ASX’s key winners and losers.
Data is taken after the market closes at 4pm AEDT.
Stocks highlighted in yellow made market-moving announcements during the day.
Leading the charge were two Western Australian explorers with solid exploration results.
First was Gibb River Diamonds (ASX:GIB), up over 450 per cent after reporting a big gold hit at its Edjudina project in WA.
Second was Estrella Resources (ASX:ESR), which surged over 250 per cent after flagging “massive nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation” at its T5 prospect in Menzies, WA.
The biggest market moving news of the non-resources stocks came from AuMake (ASX:AU8) — a company that operated daigou (to buy on behalf of) stores but is pivoting online with Chinese tourism having dried up.
This morning it told shareholders it was teaming up with Shenzen Jiezhou Technology to launch a new e-commerce market place which would help Australian brands connect with Asian influencers.
Helix Resources (ASX:HLX) fell off the back of an exploration update.
Internet company focused venture capitalist Fatfish Group (ASX:FFG) also fell after telling shareholders a proposed acquisition was not going ahead.
