Today’s winners were all resources stocks and today’s biggest winner was Corazon (ASX:CZN). The company said it had discovered mineralised diorite porphyry at its Mt Gilmore Cobalt-Gold project in New South Wales.

MRG Metals (ASX:MRQ) also climbed with exploration results.

Gold play eMetals (ASX:EMT) was another stock that gained this morning. While it had no news of its own, it was named by iron ore play GWR (ASX:GWR) as an example of an investment that had paid off for it in an update GWR gave to its shareholders.

Alice Queen (ASX:AQX), a gold explorer which was one of several to try and follow Alkane Resources’ (ASX:ALK) big gold-copper porphyry discovery in NSW’s Lachlan Ford Belt last year, fell today after its latest exploration results.

Myanmar Metals (ASX:MYL) also fell but because a result of a capital raising.
