10 at 10: These ASX stocks are hanging high this morning
Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10 highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade. It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.
The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every stock has commenced trading.
Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).
This morning 592 stocks opened up, 467 opened down and 1043 were unchanged. The top winners were all in gold thanks to the latest surge in the gold spot price above US$1,900 and news at individual companies.
Today’s winner was Alto Metals (ASX:AME) which unveiled strong exploration results at its West Australian project.
Golden Rim Resources (ASX:GMR) is buying another project, the Kuda gold project in Guinea that was once explored by Newmont Mining.
Rex Minerals (ASX:RXM) climbed after securing environmental approvals for its South Australian project.
