The Company’s 100% owned Projects are located 500km south east of Perth and are situated at the intersection of the world class Southern Cross greenstone belt and the Albany Fraser Orogen. Acquired in August 2016, the Projects cover approximately 641 square kilometres and are host to JORC 2012 Mineral Resources of 16.5Mt @ 2.1g/t Au, 0.3% Cu for 1.1Moz Au and 50kt Cu (1.4Moz AuEq). With proven metal endowment, the tenement package offers a compelling regional discovery opportunity in addition to the optionality of a near term gold development in a proven mineral field.
Medallion has completed approximately 54,000m of combined RC and DDH drilling at the Ravensthorpe Gold Project since listing on the ASX in March 2021. Approximately 50,000m has been carried out at the Kundip Mining Centre with the remainder completed at the Company’s highly prospective regional targets. This drill programme has been designed to grow the Project resources to critical mass to support the development of a long-life low cost gold and copper mine.
