Special Report: Human resources tech company Xref has integrated its service with the LinkedIn Talent Hub, a jobs portal used by most recruiters across the planet.

Reference checker Xref (ASX: XF1) joins LinkedIn Talent Hub, the social media giant’s recruitment and jobs portal.

The human resources technology company is integrating its service with the LinkedIn Talent Hub, making its automated reference checking solution available as part of the streamlined hiring workflow offered to users of the applicant tracking system (ATS).

LinkedIn Talent Hub is the only ATS built on the global LinkedIn network with its more than 675m members.

It allows customers to source, manage and hire from one integrated platform.

Xref was the first automated solution for the candidate referencing process and it is capitalising on its first-mover advantage by focusing on and investing for international growth.

A big deal

Xref CEO Lee-Martin Seymour says this is a big deal for the ASX listed company.

“We have completed the integration between the Linkedin and Xref signup processes, and created a global, completely self-service system for recruiters to find, check and hire people,” he said.

“The opportunity for Xref is enormous. Most recruiters and HR proffesionals in the world use LinkedIn and the Talent Hub is set to disrupt the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) market generally.

“Recruiters who are using disparate systems will want to, and are now able to, combine all of their LinkedIn tools in one place.”

Xref’s addressable market already includes more than 180m employees in North America, 120m employees in Europe and 15m employees in Australia and New Zealand.

Xref executive director and CSO Tim Griffiths says from both a commercial and technical point of view, the Linkedin integration is like any other available via their platform and can be adopted with the same ease and speed seen by customers connecting Xref to other ATS platforms.

Linkedin head of business development Katherine Tsay expects the partnership to streamline its candidate hiring experience

“We will continue to work closely to ensure our customers can source, manage, and hire candidates all in one place.”

Going virtual

Xref is participating in the upcoming LinkedIn Impact virtual event on April 2, 2020. The virtual conference for talent professionals and business leaders includes an agenda designed to work for all global timezones.

Xref will host a virtual stand at the conference, allowing attendees to access valuable Xref content, and assets relating to the platform and its integration with LinkedIn Talent Hub.

The company’s business model is based on clients purchasing credits to use the candidate referencing platform.
