AppsVillage just partnered with the world’s most downloaded app – TikTok

AppsVillage (ASX:APV) and TikTok have partnered up allowing AppsVillage clients to advertise on TikTok's business advertising platform
AppsVillage (ASX:APV) has partnered with TikTok to enable its small business customers to advertise on the TikTok platform.
TikTok is the world’s most downloaded app having surpassed 2.5 billion installations. It has 850 million monthly users globally – 110 million of which are in the US.
AppsVillage will expand the use of its digital marketing automation and management solution JARVIS for TikTok.
The partnership will allow AppsVillage customers to create advertising campaigns on TikTok and reach new audiences in under three minutes without any prior experience required.
AppsVillage’s latest win
The deal is the latest success for AppsVillage since it launched JARVIS less than six months ago.
The deal with TikTok follows on from the success of JARVIS in regard to Facebook ads since its launch in June.
JARVIS has been particularly popular among customers in shopping, retail and beauty, and cosmetics.
TikTok targeting Facebook advertisers
The deal comes at a time where TikTok is trying to win over small business advertisers from Facebook.
It launched a self-serve advertising platform in July this year aiming to get small businesses which have been putting all their eggs in the Facebook ad basket – or stopped altogether amidst COVID-19 – to switch to TikTok.
It provided a significant carrot for businesses to switch, particularly those in the latter category. Namely, $100 million in advertising credits to small businesses worldwide to encourage take-up and help them out of the COVID-19 hole.
TikTok ads appear in a user’s content feed, can run for up to 60 seconds and include sound.
