What are the different kinds of rare earths deposits emerging in Australia? What are the key characteristics to look for in a rare earths deposit? And what should we expect from the global market in 2024?
Red Metal (ASX:RDM) founder and managing director Robert Rutherford joins the Stockhead TV studio to investigate these questions and more.
“What we’re seeing globally is that China has a dominance of the rare earths supply but also the downstream processing as they make most of the magnets that go into electric cars,” Rutherford explained.
“We’re seeing a lot of these low CAPEX, low OPEX projects in Brazil and Australia as being the future because they’re so cheap to build and so cheap to operate,” he said.
Stockhead’s Ashtyn Hiron sits down with Rutherford to learn more about the rare earths market and where it’s headed.
