The Cummins Range rare earths deposit is admittedly remote, according to RareX, but is well connected to get online and producing in Western Australia’s northeast.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with RareX (ASX:REE) CEO James Durrant to get the short end of the long story on the company’s latest announcement.

Australia’s largest undeveloped rare earths project earned a major set of wings in November after RareX secured land at Wyndham Port for product storage and transfer – cementing a major part of the supply chain puzzle at Cummins Range.

Cummins Range has a unique advantage of being a phosphate dominant overburden material that can be monetised as a direct shipping ore material.

“All these pieces of the puzzle are needed so that we can get Cummins Range as operational as possible,” Durrant told Stockhead TV, speaking on the Port Wyndham success.

Tune in to hear RareX’s James Durrant on the next box to be ticked at Cummins Range, what it takes to get a rare earths project off the ground and more.
