Successful drilling, ongoing metallurgical works and new discoveries. To say it has been a busy quarter for rare earths explorer OD6 Metals would be an understatement.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) managing director Brett Hazelden to get the short end of the long story on the company’s latest accomplishments.

Earlier this month, CSIRO machine learning supported modelling at OD6’s Splinter Rock project near Esperance to identify major rare earths basin extensions as well as new prospects.

This news followed on from successful metallurgical works at the project which already hosts a 344Mt at 1,308ppm TREO resource amidst thick clay basins.

“We’ve got our Phase 2 metallurgy program coming through with about 50 samples that we will put out results for,” Hazelden said.

Tune in to hear OD6’s Brett Hazelden on what comes next at Splinter Rock, his current outlook on the rare earths market and more.
