Final assays from Titan’s 2021 drill program at its Dynasty project have returned further high-grade gold and silver hits, reflecting the scale of the Cerro Verde prospect.

Notable results include 9m grading 5.22 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 13.37g/t silver from 62.2m (CVD060), 2.83m at 7.92g/t gold and 93.28g/t silver from 58.66m (CVD080) and 7.07m at 5.9g/t gold and 8.9g/t silver from 179.93m in hole CVD089, which includes several shallower mineralised intersections.

Titan Minerals (ASX:TTM) adds that both drilling and trenching results confirm the extension of mineralisation at depth and along the length of the historical foreign resource.

Drilling at the Comanche vein system continued to return substantially better intercepts than previously modelled while extending the strike of mineralisation 70m to the east of hole CVD093 that intersected 9.94m at 1.42g/t gold.

Over at the Ensillada and Herradura, drilling extended the depth of the vein zones by 53m and 250m from surface.

Meanwhile, CYD060 was drilled in the Chula-Mula vein system that had not been previously drilled.

Channel sampling and ongoing works

Over in the southwest of the Cerro Verde prospect, trench and channel sample results have revealed increased vein density at the Brecha-Comanche pits.

Notable results include 10.88m at 5.06g/t gold and 8.8g/t silver, and 7.25m at 4.8g/t gold and 17.61g/t silver.

Detailed geological mapping and trenching in context of structural information from drilling and geophysical data acquired by Titan over the past year are currently in progress.

This will support more predictive exploration drilling in the coming year as the company works to define the limits of the mineralised system at Dynasty.

It also supports ongoing modelling for resource estimate updates.
