Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10 highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken as at 10:15am, once every stock has commenced trading.

Here are the 10 leaders to start the day:

Biotech stock Invion Ltd (ASX: IVX) was quickest out of the blocks, after a positive update on testing for the company’s IVX-P02 photosensitiser, which is used in the treatment of cancer.

On the other side of the fence, a couple of resources minnows sunk in morning trade, with Metals Australia (ASX:MLS) and Austar Gold (ASX: AUL) both falling by 25 percent.
