It was all about resources companies yesterday, with Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) in the lead after announcing assays have continued to confirm thick, high-grade REE mineralisation at Yin, within its Mangaroon Project in WA – including 24m at 2.57% TREO from surface.

“Yin continues to deliver exceptional REE results,” MD Dean Tuck said.

“With 84 of 120 holes reported, we remain on schedule to deliver our initial JORC resource at Yin in the December 2022 quarter.

“Importantly this initial JORC Resource will only cover ~3km of the interpreted ~16km of strike of Yin.”

GME Resources (ASX:GME) is raising $4m via placement at 9.5c per share to go towards a definitive feasibility study (DFS) (the most advanced of all project studies) on the NiWest nickel-cobalt project in WA.

NiWest — next door to the largest nickel-cobalt operation in Australia, Glencore’s Murrin Murrin — will produce ~90,000 tonnes per annum of battery grade nickel and cobalt sulphate for the burgeoning electric vehicle market.

The placement follows a non-binding MOU announced Monday with global #5 carmaker Stellantis for future offtake.

Javelin Minerals (ASX:JAV) has uncovered 48 priority lithium and rare earths targets at the Mt Ida-Ida Valley project in WA, with drilling to kick off in the first half of 2023.
