Good morning everyone, and welcome to Thursday, 26 October.

Aussie shares are poised to rise at the open, tracking movements on Wall Street overnight. At 8am AEST, the ASX 200 index futures was pointing up by +0.4%.

On Stockhead today…

Lowell Resources Fund chief investment officer John Forwood gives us his take on a sector of the ASX resources market full of value. This month, John picks out two uranium explorers with exploration upside.

Stockhead’s Cam Drummond tells us why you’ll be hearing a lot more of Bishop Resources in the coming months – a gold developer that has set up shop in West Africa’s highly-regarded mining jurisdictions of Ghana and Senegal.

And Bevis Yeo runs his ruler over the few standout ASX junior explorers reporting their Q3 results.

WHAT GOT YOU TALKING

Low grade iron ore has been resilient in spite of rising enthusiasm for green steel. But Champion Iron says signals for stronger high grade iron ore demand are emerging

And…the local market got the shock of its ill-prepared week when some much, much higher-than-expected CPI data dropped for September.

Yesterday’s Small Caps highlights:

Smashing it on lite volumes is still HALO Technologies (ASX:HAL). The stock was up over 200% when the sleepy ASX speeding cops finally pulled HAL over, kicking in a tail light as they did.

But there’s an explanation and the best part is it’s brief:

Sabre Resources (ASX:SBR) stock is still up around 40% after revealing it’s just added two ‘highly prospective tenement applications to its ground holding in the northwest Pilbara region of WA, along strike.’ And yes: ‘Only 5km to the northeast of the Andover lithium discovery of Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS)

Revolver Resources (ASX:RRR) has finished an additional $3mn in new equity funding, the stock is up and away, although the volume is not 4 to the floor. Revolver has received funds from three existing shareholders for a share placement to each of A$1 million at an issue price of $0.20 per share.
