Metgasco (ASX:MEL) had a cracking week, with the ATP 2021 joint venture (25% MEL) executing a definitive gas sales agreement with AGL Wholesale Gas.

MD Ken Aitken said the deal is a significant milestone for Metgasco and will see the company’s transition into a bone fide gas producer by the middle of the year.

Explorer Riversgold (ASX:RGL) picked up rock chips grading up to 2% lithium during an initial site visit to the ‘Tambourah’ project in the Pilbara region of WA.

Ore grade for hard rock mines is usually around 1-1.5% lithium.

It’s a solid start — these rock chips are from one 200m section of what is potentially a 26km-long mineralised corridor at Tambourah, RGL CEO Julian Ford says.

Ardea Resources (ASX:ARL) received Major Project Status from the Aussie Government for its $1.165 billion  Kalgoorlie Nickel-Cobalt Project (KNP).

This will helps streamline the approvals process and provides access to additional sources of potential project funding, ARL says.
