Classic Minerals Ltd (ASX:CLZ), which is moving towards production at its Kat Gap gold project in WA, ticked higher to 0.2c after announcing the appointment of Indigenous woman Gillian King, who will join the board as a non-executive director.

There were also strong gains for Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO), which scored a high-grade copper hit at its Kanmantoo project in South Australia, as well as ASX debutante Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1), which raised $10m from investors at 20c per share and closed on day one at 28c.
