High flying lithium play Vulcan (ASX:VUL) gained another 30 per cent today.

Today’s catalyst for its rise was a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) on its Zero Carbon lithium project in Germany, which shows “reasonable” Phase 1 construction costs of about $1.09 billion.

Thanks to low operator costs, it would take just five years to pay that back.

Uranium play Valor Resources Ltd (ASX:VAL) rose off the back of no company news leading to a price query.

In response to the ASX, it mentioned Tolga Kumova’s reference to the company in his Stockhead interview as a possible reason for the move.

It was tough week for large cap EFTPOS company Tyro Payments (ASX:TYR).

Earlier this week it announced its merchant customers have been experiencing an issue with 15 per cent of Tyro’s terminal fleet since Tuesday.

It fell another 12 per cent today before entering a trading halt pending a response to a report that it claimed made false assertions about the situation.
