The latest gold IPO Siren Gold (ASX:SNG) enjoyed a solid debut, finishing up 80 per cent. It is one of the few gold stocks offering exposure to New Zealand.

Also in resources, a number of rare earths stocks were hot today. One was WA play RareX (ASX:REE), which told shareholders it was beginning drilling at its project next month.

Another was American Rare Earths (ASX:ARR) which has been surging all week since telling shareholders on Monday it stands to benefit from US President Donald Trump’s executive order on critical minerals supply.

In tech, energy software-as-a-service firm Simble (ASX:SIS) climbed 36 per cent following a a $1m oversubscribed capital raising.

Online verification company CV Check (ASX:CV1) rose 30 per cent after its latest company update. It reported a 40 per cent jump in quarter-on-quarter sales “despite pandemic related shutdowns in New Zealand and Victoria”.
