On Tuesday, King Island Scheelite (ASX:KIS) scored a $10m loan from the Tasmanian Government to support redevelopment of the Dolphin tungsten project.
Since then, the stock has gained 108 per cent.
Tungsten is a critical mineral – like rare earths, lithium, and cobalt – and a key input “to industries that are vital to national security”, KIS boss Johann Jacobs says.
“This funding empowers us to continue our development program at Dolphin, which hosts one of the few high quality tungsten deposits remaining in the Western world.”
Energy microplay Global Oil & Gas (ASX:GLV) has gained a key approval to explore for helium and hydrogen in the Northern Territory.
Oneview Healthcare (ASX:ONE) – already +77.8 per cent after signing a distribution agreement with Samsung to deliver bedside digital services to US patients – was up again today on a business update.
‘The most popular lithium stock on the ASX’ – Vulcan Energy (ASX:VUL) – just completed a mammoth $120m institutional placement to accelerate project development.
Cornerstone investment came from Gina Rinehart-led Hancock, “one of the most successful private companies in Australian history and a leader in the resources industry”.
The Vulcan share price is now up from 19c to $9.28 over the past 12 months.
