Gold junior Firefly Resources (ASX:FFR) surged with exploration results. After being as low as 2 cents in March, the stock now sits at 19 cents.
Meanwhile, HIV fighter Biotron (ASX:BIT) announced its compound had been shown to have antiviral activity against COVID-19.
Pharmaxis (ASX:PXS) fell after announcing Boehringer Ingelheim had discontinued development of Pharmaxis’ drug for diabetic retinopathy and was now handing it back.
Consolidated Financial Holdings (ASX:CWL) fell as a capital return took effect.
