Leading the charge was Minbos Resources (ASX:MNB) which has a phosphate project in Africa. The company appointed DRA Global to conduct a definitive feasibility study for its project.

Texas-focused oil play Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) rose after telling shareholders all necessary surface equipment for production at its Mitchell well was in place.

Tech play iSentric (ASX:ICU) gained on the day it changed its name and code to IOUPay (ASX:IOU).

And the ASX’s only virtual reality stock Vection (ASX:VR1) announced it had joined the Facebook ISV program.

Timothy Goyder-backed DiscovEX Resources (ASX:DCX) fell after exploration results.

It told shareholders the lateral and strike extensive nature of its gold anomaly “is yet to be fully explained with further work required to understand its distribution and source”.
