Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) is an exploration and production company that acquires and develops producing oil and gas assets and leases and develops the acreage opportunities.

The company has a growing acreage position in the Anadarko Super Basin in the US, which is recognised as a leader in terms of oil and natural gas production. Current production for the region is estimated to be in the order of 600,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Brookside enables businesses to own part of a world-class oil and gas resource play, with a leasing target of more than 8,000 acres. The company has already seen US$1.8m in acreage sales.
