Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10, published at 10.15am each trading day, highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade using live data.

It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).

Microcap Bass Metals (ASX:BSM) rose after signing a research and development agreement with Swinburne University to develop carbon composites using Bass’ concentrates to manufacture advanced materials.

Gold aspirant 3D Resources (ASX:DDD) climbed after an update on its Adelong gold project. It told shareholders it had hired an exploration manager and drilling would begin this quarter.

Another gold stock rising from an project update was Antipa (ASX: AZY) which unveiled drilling results.

But topping the lot was Silver City Minerals (ASX:SCI) which has acquired an 80 per cent interest in a new gold project in WA.

The only non-resources stock making the top 10 off the back of news was Fiji Kava (ASX:FIJ) which announced its produce would be stocked in Chemist Warehouse.
