InteliCare will provide its AI-powered technology to the country’s largest non-profit private hospital operator.
Health tech company InteliCare Holdings (ASX:ICR) has won a competitive contract to supply St John of God Health Care, one of the largest Catholic providers of healthcare services in Australia, with its AI-based technology support.
Under the agreement, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients at St John of God Accord, part of St John of God Health Care, will use InteliCare’s assistive living technology to help them live independently in supported accommodation.
Innovative support for caregivers and clients
The contract will see InteliLiving technology deployed in approximately 10 new supported homes across five sites in Victoria operated by St John of God Accord. The technology includes the InteliLiving mobile app for carers to enable personalised services and preserve St John of God Accord’s clients’ privacy, reduce intrusion and increase independence while keeping them safe.
Jason Waller, CEO of InteliCare, says the agreement is a great reflection of the quality of InteliCare’s AI-technology offering.
“We are thrilled to be working with such an esteemed organisation as St John of God Health Care. This win reflects the time and effort we have invested in developing an open-architecture platform and highly adaptable dashboard, that can meet the pace of rapidly advancing sensor technology,” says Waller.
Intelicare’s market-leading technology will allow St John of God Accord to customise the configuration for each client depending on their needs. It will include a range of fully integrated sensors including motion sensors, panic buttons, shower sensors, health metrics and non-wearable fall detection.
Data is processed using AI and presented on a consolidated dashboard to give carers a complete picture of risk and care needs.
Importantly, the dashboard can be configured to allow for multiple clients in each supported house. This customisation highlights the flexibility in which InteliCare works to ensure clients receive care tailored specifically to them.
Lisa Evans, CEO of St John of God Accord, says InteliCare’s technology is perfectly suited to the needs of its clients and caregivers.
“Our requirements revolve around a very generic set of capabilities as we don’t yet know who will move in and what their needs are,” said Evans.
“InteliCare demonstrated their system to meet the broadest range of capabilities and configurations. This is critical for us to give our caregivers the best technology to deliver person-centred care and our clients the greatest possible independence.”
Ongoing growth
The partnership with St John of God comes as InteliCare celebrated a 69% increase in sales revenue in its June quarter and a 48% rise YTD from HY FY21.
The impressive sales figures followed a concentrated focus on successfully executing conversions from InteliCare’s B2C marketing campaign, which saw $315k in media placements nationally and delivered 7.5x B2C growth.
