SaaS aged care tech company InteliCare has secured a major contract with leading not-for-profit MercyCare.

A new contract with leading Western Australian aged care and disability support service MercyCare will see InteliCare (ASX:ICR) provide its AI-based smart technology to clients to assist them in independent living.

The deal sees MercyCare invest over $170,000 in InteliCare’s smart home technology, allowing the not-for-profit to use data to customise individual care.

The agreement follows a number of wins for InteliCare, including a partnership with St John of God Healthcare. Utilising in-home sensor technology and artificial intelligence, InteliCare’s smart technology will provide MercyCare with instant access to their clients’ 24/7 health and wellbeing data.

Significant potential for growth

Some 125 MercyCare home care clients stand to benefit under the new agreement using InteliCare’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology. MercyCare currently supports 2,400 clients and there is future potential for InteliCare’s technology to be expanded.

MercyCare CEO Anthony Smith said the two companies form a perfect alignment in the purpose of assisting seniors in living independently in their own homes.

“We are excited at the opportunity to look into how technology can improve and enhance the quality of care for clients who live at home independently,” Smith said.

“We look forward to empowering our care staff with data which can be used to deliver our Person-Centred Approach by proactively customising each individual’s care and support.”

Jason Waller, CEO of InteliCare said MercyCare was “a highly respected organisation that understands the importance of innovation and smart technology when seeking care solutions”.

“This contract reflects InteliCare making substantial traction in the aged care sector thanks to our continued investment in creating innovative and scalable solutions that empower service providers with clear and comprehensive data.”

The future of at-home care

MercyCare selected InteliCare based on its richness of insights into behavioural patterns, allowing personalised and proactive care for at-home clients.

InteliCare’s products can also be scaled up with customised sensor configurations for each client. This enables MercyCare staff to meet their client’s changing needs based on real-world evidence, helping them stay healthy at home for longer.

The technology includes the InteliCare Pro Dashboard for carers to enable personalised services, reduce intrusion and maintain independence while monitoring their physical and mental health for early signs of deterioration.

The new agreement comes as InteliCare celebrated a record quarter in September, with significant growth in B2B and B2C customers and receipts of $239k, the highest since the company was founded.

The impressive sales figures followed a concentrated focus on successfully executing conversions from InteliCare’s B2C marketing campaign, which saw $315k in media placements nationally and delivered 7.5x B2C growth.
