Prospect Resources Limited (ASX: PSC, FRA:5E8) is an ASX listed company focused on the exploration and development of battery and electrification metals mining projects in the broader sub-Saharan African region. Prospect is developing its large Mumbezhi Copper Project (85% Prospect) situated in the world-class Central African Copperbelt region of north-western Zambia. The project covers highly prospective ground which lies in close proximity to several major world-class copper mines which are hosted in similar geological settings.

In March 2025, the Company released its maiden Mineral Resource estimate for Mumbezhi which totals 107 million tonnes grading 0.5% Cu and an updated impressive Exploration Target of 420 to 1,050 million tonnes grading between 0.4% Cu and 0.6% Cu.

  • Mr Mark Wheatley | Non-Executive Chairman

    Mr Wheatley is an experienced listed resources company director including roles as CEO, MD, non-executive director and chairman since 2003. Mark has operated on the ASX, TSX, JSE and NASDAQ across the gold, base and battery metals sectors at all stages of the mining life cycle within companies with markets caps ranging from $5 million to $7 billion. His executive experience began as an undergraduate trainee at a major miner and development across a number of disciplines, then investment banking before moving to a large gold miner and later into the junior mining sector as MD/CEO in uranium and gold.

  • Mr Sam Hosack | Managing Director

    Mr Hosack is a third generation Zimbabwean, residing in Harare. Sam holds a Bachelors Engineering Degree (Hons) from Essex University in UK, MBA from Ashcroft Business School (UK) and respective professional registrations. He is a proven senior mining executive with over 20 years’ experience within the global resources sector including considerable experience in Zambian Copper Belt with FQM. He had hands on experience in the delivery of large scale mining, power and port projects to market, as well as their operations.
